How Metronaut Helps You Practice Sheet Music with AI – An Overview

With Metronaut learning your favorite pieces is easy and fun.

Let's take a quick tour of what you can do with the App:

The play button allows you play or sing your part, seen on the sheet music, while being accompanied by the backing track provided with the piece you opened. On top of this, you get the following quick practice tools:

1. 1. The Listen button helps you get familiar with the piece by hearing both your part and the accompaniment.
   2. The Tempo button allows you to customize the music accompaniment. Choose the tempo and its level of adaptation to your performance. 
      • Fixed Mode: The accompaniment plays at a fixed tempo, without adapting to you.
      • Wait Mode: Play without accompaniment. The cursor moves when you play the note.
      • AI Feedback: Play at your tempo of choosing and get instant feedback on your pitch and rhythm precision.
      • AI Tempo: The accompaniment tempo adapts to yours in real-time like a musician would.
   3. The Loop buttons activate those tools to help you improve.
   4. The Recording button allows you to record audio or video and access your previous recordings or that of other users.
